Nabors and I began our Christmas celebrations at a Christmas Eve service at The Village in Denton, Tx with a delicious italian dinner to follow. It was very different because usually, we are surrounded by the people below. However, it was wonderful to have our own traditions, and dream about what we would do with our own children.
Christmas Day, we spent the day wrapping presents, got packed, and headed up to Paris. We visited with Mom, Meme and Granddaddy. Friday morning, we got up and headed to the Malone’s. Nabors, Andy, & Lawrence went hunting while I got a chance to visit with Lori, Rita, and the boys. It was wonderfully relaxing, and Rita fixed us an amazing dinner. We even got in an impromptu photo shoot for Sam’s second birthday. (see the post below!) Thanks again Rita and Lawrence for loving Nabors and I!! We adore you!
Brother and Kristen got to Paris that afternoon. I love to hang out with them. My sister in law is full of spunk, and my grandmother loves to mess with her. It is always fun to be around them. Sister, Dub, Tucker & Tanner got to Paris around 3p.m. from their long treck from Lubbock. It is a LONG drive, and we were so thankful that they made it safely and the boys were ready to be spoiled by their aunts and uncles. We opened presents and had homemade stew that evening. The boys had lots of fun with their new toys and costumes. All three of us and our families spent the night in Paris on Friday. Mom, we loved being home again with everyone! Thank you for opening your house up to us!!!
Saturday we got up and headed to Dad & Janice’s house. We spent some time playing football. (thanks again, brother, for the ball coming right to me while holding my camera!!) We enjoyed hanging out with Hayley, Jace & Hunter. We had a fantastic brisket sandwich for dinner and opened presents! The boys eyes danced as they opened each one. Thanks Dad! We loved being there and apreciate everything!
Everyone went home the next day, and I can not believe the festivites are over. We had an amazing time with our family during the holiday. Below is a collage so you can see what a Kinnaird/Aune/Nabors/Chisum Christmas looks like.

enjoy!
