Date Night Mystery

008-copy

Nabors and I continue to try to date through this thing called marriage and life.  We have found that we are way more connected when we take time out to actually date.

Well, these two images are taken at one of my favorite places for date night.  Can you guess where I love to go?

enjoy!

Peek A Boo!

Two summers ago, I planted some begonias in our front beds.  I have this habit/desire to have all of the plants around me that have made my grandmother so happy throughout my life.

I have a few of my favorites, but for the most part, I have only planted or transplanted things she had growing around her.  Meme loves begonias, and every summer, she plants them in her front barrel.  I had to have some.

One thing she always tells me is that they will only last for the summer….so I better enjoy them.  Which really makes them that much more amazing.

Well, these little gems were planted two summers ago and I never took them up at the end of the season.  I was delighted last summer when they came back up, and with the dawn of spring again this year…here they are playing peek-a-boo!  I love these little friendly flowers!

enjoy!

Nabors

This is an example of what people do when they have no children to sit in the blubonnets to take pictures.  You ask Nabors to sit in them for you!  I love my husband, and I am so thankful for his sense of humor.  He graciously let me take his “spring” pictures!  Thank you honey!  These pictures make me smile!

enjoy!

Our Little Vegetable Garten

Nabors and I decided to start a little vegetable garten this year.  We have planted tomatoes, peppers, and herbs.  We are extremely excited to see the harvest that these little plants produce!

A Secret Smile

This little guy is constantly on the go when he sees me pull out my camera.  He tries to run as fast as he can away from the lense.  Last week, we went to his house, and I begged him to give me one smile before I look at something he was creating.  Thank goodness the bribe worked because I caught this!

enjoy!

Texas Wildflowers

I am always amazed at the beautiful colors that dot the Texas Highways this time of year.  They really have been refreshing and beautiful this year while making the drive back and forth to Paris to see Meme and Grandaddy.  I am so thankful for God’s amazing creativity in nature.  So, of course, I had to stop and take some pictures.

enjoy!
