This precious family has been a part of my life since 1991. It has been amazing to see walk with them through the last 18 years. So, when they asked me to do a shoot with the entire family, I was thrilled!! It seemed only natural to hang out and capture their personalities.
Blaggs, thank you for welcoming me into your family, and letting me be a part of so many amazing events. I adore your family, and I loved being able to take these for you!

I so enjoyed taking Katie’s pictures. Her mom, Karen, and I are co-workers, and when I heard that Katie looked at my pictures and wanted me to take pictures of her, I was honored! Katie was full of joy and peace! She was willing to play in the fountain, jump in the air, sit in the grass….basically anything I asked!

Such a sweet bond between this mother and son. I had the opportunity to capture this closeness not too long ago. I love the way he holds her cheek and looks to her for comfort from the grass. In fact, he even climbed on her back to get away from the grass….I loved it!
Rebecca your love for Jesus shines through your love for Paul. He is blessed to have you for a mom, and I can see in your eyes what a awesome blessing he is to you. Thank you for the opportunity to take your pictures…it was my honor!

I have had the privilege of taking the pictures of Spiderman, Obi Wan Kenobi, Superman, Power Rangers, Storm Troopers, and The Ninja Turtles. However, the call came in that two more super heros wanted to join in and have their pictures taken. Of course, I can’t say no to someone who helps make the world safe and fights crime! So, Flash and Batman arrived! So much fun!

Kim and her boys were so much fun to hang out with. Kim and I teach together, and she has an amazing personality. Her boys are just like her! They love life, laugh often, and feed off of Kim’s enthusiasm. It ws very fun to see these brothers and their precious mom!

Meg is another one of my co-workers. As you can tell, she loves to laugh! I was so excited when she asked if her family (including her four legged babies) could do a shoot! What a great experience!! Meg, thank you for allowing me to capture your family! I enjoyed hanging out with you guys!

I am trying to get better about taking my camera around with me to capture textures, unusual sites, etc. One of Nabors’ and my favorite places to go is Babes Chicken. So, this last time I was out there, I took a few pictures. A couple of them are for my friend, Leslie, who wanted to ride the rooster! Love you girl, but it isn’t possible!

I had a wonderful time with this family. The girls are adorable, and they were so cute reacting to each other and their mom and dad. I love capturing families’ natural interactions with each other. The girls would reach for each other and coo at each other. I am sure as time goes on, they wil have their own secret language. There is something very special about sisters.

Jarod is the nephew of a co-worker. I adore his Aunt Dana, and I was thrilled when she scheduled a time to hang out with her and Jarod. Everyone who reads this blog knows how special I think nephews are…and Dana and Jarod’s relationship is nothing but fun!
Jarod’s immediate family is in Australia, and we were putting together some pictures for Christmas presents this year….way to go Dana getting it done so early! Jarod is a lot of fun. He is very rock-n-roll…loves playing his guitar, played football, and an all around great guy! I was thrilled to get to spend time with them!

Dana warned me that he wasn’t a smiler (very rock-n-roll). However, I caught great ones of his smile and his fun personality.
I loved taking these pictures. H and T are the best of friends. They have both made cheerleader at their repective highschools which just happen to be rivals! We had a blast! Rivals or not, these two will be friends forever!
